Its arrived but not had change to even look at it yet lol
Quality looks good thou.
-
No not at all mate, just that you'll need one and the wiring diagram doesn't show one
-
ok nino when you do could you post up afew words about it?
-
OK taken a look at it now and I must say I am impressed, furthermore just looking at the loom kind of explains how it works
Luckily I already have the switches and I also have the blocks that plug into the seats themselves.
The loom starting at the switch end splits off for the two switches see below...

Abit further down it leads to what looks to me like an earth wire and two live wires 1 of which has the relay and the other has a fuse (im yet to work out where this goes).

It then splits off at the otherend to go to each seat as said earlyer im lucky as I have the blocks from when I got the seats.

Now all I have to do is work out which wire connects to what :)
Hope this helps mate.

You need a switched and permanent live I think

Yeah need to work it out
-
Which one has no end connector?
-
What you mean Wazz?
-
it says one of the red cables should have no end connector on it?

Arh yes this is the one that is off the fuse.
-
fused to ignition live then, there's a nice yellow terminal that will do the job under the dash plastics and also a red terminal to run the permanent live to :afro:
I'd still fuse the permanent one though...
-
Arrrrh brilliant, its one of those that without seeing what you mean I wont see it will I lol

Not yet dude I'm waiting on some heat shrink as I'm linking the seat connectors to the loom.
-
sorry to bring this up again chaps :) but i have purchased this item my self and was wondering were you think i should put the 2 red wires ie the permanent live feed and the ignition live wires??
-
Under the dash there are red and yellow terminals above the relays, the red is a permanent live and the yellow is ignition live
-
Yep 75 = semi live.
30 = perm live.
-
christ!!!!! are those the really thick wires leading into what looks like a load of relay cubes??
-
yep, you can undo the nut and add to them
-
cheers buddy :)
-
I am in the process of making a how to with this loom keep your eyes open :nerd:
-
Just make sure you fuse the connections, you can run the wires to the empty fuse board slots and add fuses there
-
nino any sort of estimated time of this how to guide :D
-
I'll try and get it done tonight :)
-
Yep 75 = semi live.
30 = perm live.
ok so i have done this and it does work :D........................... buuuutttt when you turn the ignition on the switches light up so maybe we need to look at wiring it up so the switches light up when the dash lights turn on :)
just though you might want to know :)
-
where have you rigged the number 1 wire (switch illumination) to?
-
i followed the instructions to a T and there were 3 wires that needed hooking up behind the fuse box...... earth, perm live red 30, and ignition live yellow 75
-
so you've run no.1 wire on the switch to an illumination source?
-
As promissed :nerd:

I'm guessing that they've piggybacked the illumination wire for the switch onto the switched live (yellow) somewhere.
You could always cut this and join it to your Bora vent loom
