Can anyone confirm that a brand new one should blow straight through both ends?

i have one that is a month old and it blows straight through both ends i thought this was supposed to be a valve?

It's basically saying how the hockey puck works (pressure/vacuum diaphragm) and that it is very restrictive if you have a catch can fitted

would this create turbo lag on a remapped car?

Its a straight through breather for the engine.  :smiley: I thought it would have wire mesh in it like on the old fords.  :grin:
