Title: Renting Garage/Workspace

I realise this probably isn't the most appropriate section (move it if needed) but I always get a great response here and couldn't decide on a more suitable place.

I live in a terrace without a garage or drive so car lives on the street. This makes any major work on the car impossible (think engine swap here), I was wondering if any of you have experience renting garages or drives, or have any other tricks for places to work on the car? People do seem to rent out drives/garages but at about £5 a day.

It's not a luxury workshop but if you look on rightmove and the like people rent external garages.
