Title: Loading DAB Logos
Post by: Chief1337 on 19 November 2013, 19:37
Having trouble loading the DAB Logos, I downloaded the set from VW but when trying to 'add' to a station and selecting them from the SD card they don't display. Any ideas?

While most of mine did appear okay on that screen, I seem to remember some didn't show.  However, if I selected one that wasn't showing it did appear okay on the radio station button.

Hmm unfortunately not for me - will have another play tomorrow.

I tried this at the weekend - downloaded the file and unzipped on a Mac. Then I only copied the logos I needed onto an SD card (otherwise you'll end up with several hundred logos to scroll through). Once I'd mounted the SD card, I discovered that the first part of the list consisted of the logo file names, but no content. Scrolling further down the list gave me the file name plus a thumbnail of the logo. This is what I selected, and it seemed to work - both for DAB and FM.

OK - that makes sense. Looking at my picture again, the filenames are "._" - so probably metadata or something. Will scroll down further and take a look. :-)

You must be using a Mac? The same thing happened to me but if you access the SD card and delete all the _ filenames the Nav Pro will find the correct filenames. Wasted 30 minutes trying to get it to work.

Aye - they were copied from a Mac.

Fine now - just scrolled down a bit and they appear! :-)
