Title: struggling to start

Went to get in the golf(mk4 gti) this morning and granted I havnt driven it for a few days but it really struggled to start had to let handbrake off and roll back to get it going. Second time it's happened now. Do I need a new battery perhaps? Only done 65k but is 1999 so 14 years old

If it sounds like the battery ie hard to turn over get a new battery as the cold weather kills old batterys.
