Title: new to the UK/Suffolk

Hopefully the photo upload works.  Anyways, I'm from the states and new to the UK.  I have a 2002 T-red 12v, non-sunroof all black leather, US Spec bumpers/LHD.  It has: cheap ultimo coils, 268 cams/springs, Black Forest Industry stage 2 engine mount kit, timing chains done, cheap muffler shop made 2.5" steel cat back to Magnaflow muffler exhaust, joey modded headlights, Helix glass lenses, amber turn lights.

Plans for Winter: don't crash it, install the dieselgeek skid plate, keep the new paint as clean as possible.

Plans for Spring:  Air ride, headunit/ JL subwoofer install into JL stealth box, wrap headliner/pillars, install dieselgeek short shift, and put the 1552 Snowflakes on that are sitting in my house.

Once I get things rolling, I want to attend as many shows possible. If anyone knows of any shows in the area please let me know.  I know of some shows from reading performance VW in the states.

If anyone knows of anyone to help with air ride installation please let me know, I do want to learn though.  I just don't want to drop my car off to a shop.  If anyone recommends an upholster in the Suffolk/immediate surrounding area please let me know.  Does anyone know of a good place to buy spacers at?  Thanks!

Welcome!

For air ride info, Balls'd could be worth a call, they're in mildenhall i believe. I have a friend in beccles that builds audio enclosures too!

Dubgeneration is a local VW club with meets in Norwich and Ipswich every month. There's plenty of clubs about east Anglia though! Whitenoise will be in August and is a fairly big show which is in Norwich, there's a few shows around though!

Welcome to Anglia

if you don't mind hopping the border into Essex, splitterz hold a dub meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month at the Horse and Groom pub in Chelmsford. Or they also hold a meet at the Lazy Otter in Cambridge on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Check out their forum. Welcome to the dub revolution UK style :-)
