Title: 2nd december build day

Hi, First post so hope you can help. Ordered a 3 door gtd in black, i've been told it will be built week commencing 2nd december, how long would it normally take from then to delivery to the dealership?

Welcome to the forum

Once built it should take approx 3-4 weeks after that before you collect  :smiley:

Placed the order in first week of august, its through a lease company so not sure whether i will be able to use the tracker. Its been a bit of a frustrating wait but i'm getting the impression,from the new owners on here, that it'll be worth the wait!  The last time I had a golf was a mk1 gti back in the early 90s so thought it was about time i returned to the vw scene.

Near five month wait in all then..... looks like it will be a January 2014 registration for you  :cool:

Hi Millzy68, You're on BW49 like me. As yet, it's just us 2 on this BW. Lets hope VW get a move on & get them built on time. BW46 has started going into transit, so should be 3/4 weeks till ours do :laugh:
