Title: Wax or c2V3?
Post by: chazzypuk on 10 November 2013, 18:30
Hi guys,

Getting my new GTD soon and want some new cleaning stuff to look after it. I already have some autoglym high definition wax which is what I have been finishing on in the past.

I notice a lot of people finish with c2v3 to give a good sealant and beading effect. Should I use both? If so in which order should I apply?

Thanks,

Seems to be used instead of wax.

All down to personal preference, as both are fine and both will do a good job.

Some people prefer a Sealant or a Wax depending on the colour of the car, as wax's can give the car a warmer, deep look, so ideal for darker colours. But sealants will still do this, just bead in a different way. Sheet more than bead.

A sealant will be quicker to apply and buff off though, things like C2V3 and Polish Angel Rapid Wax can be fully applied in around 5 minutes.

Hi guys,

Thanks for all your replies and suggestions! Much appreciated. I am getting a white car so I guess just using the c2v3 will be ok for me.

I am purchasing a whole new cleaning kit for my new car so I'm trying to make sure I get the right products.

Cheers.
