Title: Golf Mk5 GT, OEM boost gauge & Vag Com
Post by: Chris01 on 09 November 2013, 23:00
Hi, i've been looking to swap a GTI cluster in my Golf GT and what i cant seem to find is how i can make the GTI's temp clock function as a boost gauge (i would be keeping the boost gauge from the original cluster). I'm not sure whether Golf GT was sold in the UK (there's a petrol and a diesel version) but the petrol version had an OEM boost gauge where the water temp usually is in Mk5's. So, i know its a long shot, but has anyone managed to find which bit in the Instruments coding controls the temp/boost clock?
Many thanks in advance.

Yup, its a tricky one but it would be cool to have the GTI cluster look with the boost controller. I already checked with Ross Tech but they have no info on this. Looks like the chances of this working are thin but i'll be looking into it some more. Any idea is welcome.
