Title: n249 valve is it worth it?

Ive got 1.8t AUM engine with 135k on the clock, will it benefit from fitting one of thwse valve bypasses?

Siome engines don't like it and with throw up the management light. I woudn't bother on a standard car. Too much hassle for very little difference.

Its got a bit of a flat spot when its pushed would this get rid of it?

It improves throttle response in my honest opinion

Heres another question for you all. Ive seen on ebay a n249 bypass valve is it better to use one of these or to bypass it using the method in the thread by BaV using just 3mm pipe?

Mine by pass worked fine with the standard DV  :smiley:

If its still a recirculating valve it will work. You don't wanna be dumping to atmosphere on a 1.8t.
