Anyone recommended a bodywork shop or maybe someone who owns/does bodywork on here for having the rear arches sorted on my golf!
I say sorted because not being a bodywork specialist myself I wouldn't know the best way go about it. Annoyingly I cannot find the photos of what they look like under the black trim but in description the paintwork under both arch trims is bubbling. There was no visible rust when I last checked and there is no rust protruding outside of the black trim!
A couple of body shops I've enquired with only purely by chance when being with a friend at a garage nearby etc. have said for what it'd cost you is it worth it, its only an old golf! Well its my old golf lol!
So basically looking for recommendations or maybe even enquires on here to have a quote/work done on my rear arches :)
Thanks in advance people!

I would search google for body shops in your area
Go in there and tell them you want it done and it is worth it

Success people! Uncle Barry's gonna do it haha, he's an old family friend who my dad a of a sudden reveals is an a good welder  I called him and he's gonna do whatever needs doing!
Does anyone know where I can source rear arches for my golf, can you actually buy the arches from somewhere? Thank you, Richard.

Seem to have found replacement arches on eBay but not sure of quality, also does anyone know what it would mean by 2D or 4/5D as there are two seemingly identical adverts for each side of the arches but in would advertised it says rear wheel arch 2D and in the other rear wheel arch 4/5D :undecided:

Thinking of using these! Seems a good company they supply panels for all sorts of old classic cars :) I'll get some pictures today of what it looks like under the dreaded plastic arch trims :undecided:
Will most likely post them up in my project thread :)
