Title: Golf Gti Mk 7
Post by: Dargan. on 08 November 2013, 10:48
Hello  everyone.I have just registered.

I have ordered a new VW Golf GTI for delivery in March/April 2014.

I have read certain reviews and I am of the opinion that DSG and DCC(Adaptive Chassis Control)are not necessary.

Could someone give me a second opinion?

Thankyou.

Colin.

Well, nothing is necessary

To DSG or not is a pretty big decision - I would suggest driving both before deciding.

Thats good advice .

Only thing is, DSG takes a while to learn how to use properly ; I found it a bit boring at first but after driving DSG golfs for about 18 months I can honestly say it's absolutely incredible and I wouldn't have a golf without it now.

My golf has Giac stage 3 software controlling the DSG and can run 0-60 in less than 4 seconds - try that in manual!
