59 golf registered in jan gtd and for some reason when its rain its somehow eaten the paintwork and left a stain??? On bonnet???
anyone else heard of this?

Bit more detail required, sounds like bird sh!te has eaten into top coat. A decent machine polish would sort it.
-
Its a massive water line down bonnet :( as if black gloss and a line of matt through it
-
Hope we never get rain like that over here! Have you tried any treatments, pics may help too?

I'd say that's a slug trail or something like that. My mate had something very similar on the bonnet of his Superb. I clayed that for him and it came off in no time. Don't forget to seal and wax it afterwards.
