afternoon!
ive recently changed my throttle body for a ported one and had to get a new throttle position sensor.
the car never idled high before the swap. ive plugged in the errror scanner and theres no error logs.
i can turn it on and it will idle fine then 10 mins later it will be between 1800 - 2400. ive tried putting the old one back on and there is no issue what so ever.
is this just a case of disconnecting the battery over night??

Battery disconnected overnight, connect back up, turn on ignition (but don't start), wait for 30 seconds without touching pedals, then start and leave idling for a minute or so, again without touching the pedals the whole time!

excellant! ill give it ago.

or just perform tba with vcds??
-
i dont have access to vcds, ive only got one of those orange scanner things.
ive disconnected it for the night but just come back from a drive and it was driving very jerkily and jolty as if it about to cut out but then doesnt.
it all adding up to be more effort and hassle than its worth
