Title: just BOUGHT the golf and now i have a problem..

can anyone help I brought the gti last week, and it has just started to overheat and loss of heating in the air vents..
any suggestions would help :)

Water level first.

And is the thermostat working?
Hot/cold water pipes when eng warmed up under the bonnet?

water pump would be my guess if its a 1.8t  :wink:
