Basically im sorting out what stuff I can utilise on a TDI from my 16v stockpile and one of the main parts ive got is a brand new Borg & Beck 3piece clutch kit as linked above.
I know that both these vehicles run the O2A gearboxes just with different gear ratios so theoretically it should fit but will it last any longer or shorter than a normal off the shelf TDI clutch kit due to the torque variation?
If its no good then il be selling it instead.

this is probably long winded but i put the reg of both vehicles into eurocarparts part finder and cross reference the info and part numbers
-
I assume the same part numbers came up then, im not surprised to be honest but I only ask as I know the VR6 kits are slightly different even though its once again an O2A gearbox.
-
I am 99% sure it will work fine.
-
Well ive cross checked the part numbers in a few different suppliers as mentioned above it would seem itll be fine which is certainly a bonus.

Vw list the Abf as having the same pressure plate and friction plate as the 1Z tdi.
Both parts are different part no's on a vr6, not that that's really relevant, lol.
