First thing sorry all for the multiple threads the last couple of days !
Now my decat is finally on but yuuuup you guessed it its now vibrating like man I can see where its resting so I tried something knowing my dogbone mount is abit tired I jacked up the car the put another jack under the front bolt on the dogbone. I only done 2 or 3 pumps on the jack and it gave me just under an inch clearance!
So if I replace my dogbone mount should it cure the problem ?
Also I think I know whats wrong but since doing the decat and catch can my car smokes real bad (white) but I believe this is because I left the mid section outside last night and it rained as I did poor abit of water out of it this morning :/

I had the same problem when mine was fitted years ago mate, new dogbone cured the problem

Nice one cheers buddy mine is foobard to be fair I did put the poly bushes in well over a year ago but they were horrendous!! I dont really want to pay £90 odd for a r32 one, would a lemforder one from ecp be ok £40 is alot more appealing lol
-
I would go for an R32 mount or genuine OEM.
Can't comment on Lemforder but I had dogbones from THS & ECS which I assume are based on cheaper non OEM mounts - both failed in less than 12 months, smaller bush excessively worn in both cases.
-
I bit the bullet and got the R32 one all those years ago.

Hmmm maybe after xmas then, my mrs goes overboard around xmas and its never good for the wallet !
-
If she goes over board whack it on your list ;) save buying one yourself.
I was going to buy a second hand dogbone and poly bush it but after reading this maybe r32 is the way to go.

Obviously its all down to preference mate but I advise not to polybush I used the (I use this term lightly) "softer" red bushes and it felt/sounded like I had a bulldozer behind the dash !

R32 mount FTW
Ven fitted to my old Golf it was nice and quiet yet still able to handle the torque
-
i have pollybushed mine.
know what everyone means about the vibrations etc. but soon get used to it.

I've got enough rattles as it is so r32 may be the winner for me too.
