Title: Decent Body Shops?!?!?!?!

my anni really needs front wings they have started to bubble at the bottom,
the problem im having is decent body shops, iv got a quote from Acton coach works £2600 to replace the front wings (genuine VW), paint the bonnet, bumper, bottom splitter and blend the doors? yeah they do an amazing job but aint that steep???

my brother payed less than that for a full respray i think he payed £2000 on a merc 190E and still looks fresh after 3 years.

That is a very steep price for what you want done.

I don't know any local body shops to you but if your near bedfordshire can find out the one my brother used.

im only 20 mins away from beds, im real picky when it comes to a decent finish on the paint I can spot bad paint jobs a mile away hence y im having so much trouble  :undecided: I do a bit of painting myself wheel refurbs ect, so have fairly high standards, I want paint to match and 100% colour and finish and put in an oven lol I don't ask much  :laugh:

is there rust on the wings then  :wink: get vw to paint them they had a 12 year warranty

nope shes all original  :smiley: that another reason im putting it off time n time again id rather live with bubbles then some sh!t body shop ruin my front end lol

phone vw uk tell them they will point you to the nearest body shop  :wink: i have had a few painted under the 12 year warranty they might ask for a contribution just keep arguing with them like i did an got it free every time

first picture I could find, ring the closet dealer to me? how do I go about it? is milage an issue mate?

i tried this on my old car, but they just kept fobing me off about it being covered under the rust warrenty or panel warrenty or something which is only 3 years.

did they tell you it was not covered under the 6 year paint warranty  :undecided:

as long as the corrosion has not been caused by stone chips or damage just argue it out worked for me  :wink:
