Title: Slamming my mk4
Post by: Carl18T on 04 November 2013, 09:56
Here's a good one for you all!  I've dropped my mk4 as low as I can go and it's looking loads better, I've fitted a whiteline ARB which has sorted the problem with drive shaft rubbing. If I don't fit spacers the tyres rub on the adjusters if I fit spacers the tyres rub on the arches when I hit a dip in the road or cornering hard. I've had the spacers machined down a little but don't want to go much further or I might touch the adjusters again. Has anyone got any idea on what size spacers to fit. I'm running on 18s with 40 profile tyres. I've messed and messed to get it right but struggling. I can take a little more of the spacers before the tyres touch the adjusters. Also need to get the rears machined down a touch. It's the old problem that mk4s don't sit centered on the chassis. The passenger side is fine by the way. Any help would be great! Thanks

225 40 tyres with a little amount of stretch. It's more the inner arch that's touching at times.

Sound. Anyone know where I can get the arches rolled in the stoke area? Not sure if psi tuning do it or if they send them out to be done.
