Hi all, first post so be gentle with me.
Picked up our Ex Demo GTI end of August - 90 days old, 4k, TR, 3dr - Beautiful car. Spent a great week down in Cornwall last month. On the way back home a Caravan decided to detach itself from the tow car, roll back down the hill we were going up and smashed into the front of my new car. Aghhhhh!
Just been to collect repaired car. Just rejected repaired car. Why can't people do a proper job these days?

Gutted for you mate. Fingers crossed they get it right next time. I had a car back to have them redo a repair a 2nd and 3rd time and it wasn't even a new car!

Gutted for you mate. Who did the repair? Was is VW?

Nationwide Crash Repair in Gateshead, through my insurer. There was no local VW repairer.

Mill in Sunderland and Arnold Clark Ford bodyshop in Shiremoor are amongst the best in the Tyne area. Steer well clear of Benfield on Railway Street. Don't let your repairer (or the other party's) bully you into taking your car that has been involved in a non-fault accident to anywhere not of your choosing. I suppose you're stuck having to give the repairer a chance to redeem themselves - keep harassing them if it's not right. F*!@ing caravans!

Thanks for all your thoughts everyone. I'll keep chasing until they get it right. Only trouble is the 100 mile round trip to inspect it.
