Title: mk4 gti 1.8 - first issues
Post by: swgolfchap on 30 October 2013, 10:25
Hi,

Well things have started already but it was kind of expected i guess. On Friday i had the traction control and engine management lights come on. Sent it to a mate who has all the official kit and it was determined that the MAF sensor has gone, not a huge issue as we can replace that easy enough but when trying to read the ABS / traction control errors we could not get it to talk to the unit or get any readings? Not sure what to do next, the car dealer is happy to buy any parts needed but not sure what to suggest to him :)

Cheers,
