Title: rocker cover gasket questions
Post by: AD1.8T on 30 October 2013, 08:39
Cut a long story short ecp sell a inner and outer gasket for £21 I swear ive read somewhere you need to put silicone gasket stuff on the outer one and no one mentions an actual gasket . Why would I need that if such a thing exists ?

the old silicone will be on the top left corner, ensure you remove it.

And when doing your rocker back up tighten each bolt a tiny bt and a time so you dont distort the rubber, follow a star shape and when you fully tighten up ensure its 10 newtons.
