as per title really. snaped the dipstick guide, can I use the car or do I have to wait to get a new guide?

Mine broke in 4 places few weeks ago and i drove it fine for a few days without any problems (im not saying it wont cause any problems but i had no issues) maybe chuck a bit of tape on it to hold it together until ur new 1 arrives :smiley:

Be very careful that no bits of plastic are unaccounted for. You don't want any plastic floating around the oil sump. Could block the pick up pipe. Just get it sorted asap and if you do drive keep an eye out for any oil leaking out of the broken guide.
