As some may know i am having problems starting the car in the cold. Anyway i have a 90amp alternator sat here. What i want to know will the 90amp fit stratight onto the 70amp alternator braket? Reason due to upgrade is because im running a few upgrades in the car.
P.s engine is AGG Gti anniversary

they do a 70,90 and 120a alty that will be a direct fit (mines on a 90a). I use a co called autoelectro where you can check fitment/call them to ensure

I need to put the alternator next to it and see if it will fit onto the braket.

It the 90A alternator is from a mk3 golf petrol it will fit - straight swap, unbolt old one, fit new one, job done.
120A has a different setup, for that you'd need to swap the mount as well.
Depending on how old that 90A is you might wanna fit a new voltage reg. They are only 15£ and you can have a look at contact surface on the shaft as well.

The alt i have at home came from a mk3 that had ac but i only have the alt no bracket.
