Title: turbo silencer removal?
Post by: rfn_hodgson on 27 October 2013, 19:11
hey guys how do you remove the silencer from the turbo on the k03s?

only reason why I say this is because ever since I fitted the s3 chrge pipe I I cant hear the turbo any more as the charge pipe has a silencer on it

On the turbo, its part if the casting so unless someone chopped it out and welded a new piece in....

In regards to the S3 charge pipe, I have the same setup and I know that Forge do one without the silencer but its not cheap and looks significantly longer than the standard one, maybe its just the images I've seen

swap the comp housing, or chop and weld the existing one!

+1 for the best answer so far, or even better, don't bother!
