Missed vw's lol in the market for a TDI /Gt TDI .. Any particular models better than others for modding etc?? Looking around 5/6 grand .. DSG avoid or are they ok? I.e can they cope with remap etc?? Any help much appreciated! Used to have a mk4 1.8t ... Sold and got saab 9-3 2.0t cabriolet .. Tax price is extausion and mpg is is like 9MPG when I have a boot not good!! So this will be the part ex

Does anybody use this anymore  :lipsrsealed: just found 2 4motion 2.0l TDI DSG sounds good any probs with these??

Yes they are good. Search button will give all the answers, as covered loads before. General thought is the 170bhp is worse with DMF issues but a delete solves that. Quite tuneable and again search says 200+ is possible With the 130bhp easy achieving the 170 mark on a map.

Read common issues with the mk5 in general. Hope that helps.

Think you mean DPF  :wink: im running a 170 with DFP delete with 205bhp and 320lbs ft

The 140 version will make 170+ all day long if the turbo holds up......
