Title: Help 2nd and 3rd gear grind when changing gears but rest are fine gear changes!!

Hi there ive recently bought a mk3 gti 2.0 8v in dragon green p reg and it clunks into 2nd and 3rd i have been told it could be the gear linkage or to change gearbox oil! just wondered if anyone else has had the same problem?

if so any help would be much appreciated!!

Change the linkage bushes and oil and you'll be amazed at how much nicer it'll be to drive. Neither cost a lot or difficult to do.
