Title: gti polo... do i , dont i????

reet, the mk4 let me down again yesterday, as usual when im down to 1 car and its needed... this is the final straw for me, have sorted the prob, and tis all sorted but im fooked off with it to be honest, so the mrs has seen a 2000 plate gti polo, do i go trade it in for that on wednesday??? im off due to broken leg, shes off next week, so worth a look?? wont pay too much more ontop of my mk4 as shes lowered with 17"'s and stuff, but im gonna trade a bit of dosh to get rid... see linky for car and tells me what you thinks...

yeah i think that too, just wondering what px theyll allow me???? as guide price is pants so im expecting pants........... hence up for sale so some one can grab a bargin before a trader gets it.....

aye, they say polos are for girls, but when it has more toys than my mk4 gti, same power on a smaller engine and its a lighter car i think its a plus like!!!, the mrs uses the mk4 more than me anyways so worth a look, dunno about changing the wheels if i got polo, i think they look ok on bbs's'!!!

just strugglin to see what fast vw with me change if i dabble into me vr6 funds to get this polo...

oooohh.... buy it buy it... can always change if u don't get on with it... the way i see it is you can always change a car, you ain't stuck with it for life!

just remembered, mine also had to have the fan replaced, cos it stopped workin n the fecker would overheat  :undecided:

n they do come in 5 door

aye this is a 3door 2, same as me mk4 so i cant see it being a prob :wink:



ill let yous knows as mrs off for a week so plenty of time... but wednesday we goin for a drive to garage to look at polo if still there :wink:

just got back from 'borobridge' or where ever it was...... minus a polo....

the so called excellent condition, was er not what id call it... it had been stuffed at the rear end, not massive but needed a bumper and a few other bits of paint in my eyes....

the bbs wheels , no curbing what so ever.... but the most corroded alloy i have ever seen... other than that i seemed to run ok, had full history and stuff, but nooo way i was giving cash and my mk4 for that....

so i guess i keep on looking at stuff and see what comes up in the next day or 2......
