They give a much better response with boost and chances are your current actuator will be past its best anyway. It's a manifold off job to fit them so budget a few hours and some new gaskets etc. Measure your current actuator and set the length the same as that for the first run, disconnect the N75 plug and see how much boost you get. Around 8psi will be fine. You can add more preload (shorten the rod) if needed but don't go crazy or you'll have major problems
Don't replace your N75 unless it's knackered, I'm still running a C version that's about 12 years old and it's fine.
If you go with a K&N make sure it's not oiled otherwise it will shorten the life of your MAF

well all ready got anew n75 on.... sounds like fun replacing the actuator then not too sure on it then lol ill see what me dad says as he be the one fitting that :)
my k&n is a apollo filter i havnt oilled it but im sure these come pre oiled..my maf brand new genuine too. so that might bugger me maf then?

it may do mate as it can draw the oil through onto the element. As long as there's not masses of oil on it you should be ok
Actuator isn't too bad to change, it just takes time trying to find all 13 of the nuts to get the manifold off. You need to dro the turbo down slightly to get at them all too but not completely remove it. I left mine on the downpipe
