I like how its the best car he has ever owned quote "The car is currently registered as SORN but can be taxed ready for sale" must be too good for the road

or it could be the fact that because of the continuous insurance law a car that is uninsured cannot be taxed
-
Ah yes maybe that may be the situation and it is worth £2000
-
Yes it is overpriced but find another white one plus it does look really well looked after and tidy.

I think it was well undersold.Iv'e had it 4 months now and iv'e not had to do anything to it apart from replace the airbag unit below the dash. It's my 3rd 8v and only shows that cars can be so different.I thought the other 2 were o.k. but this one is quite a bit quicker, stops like i would wish it too and gears are spot on.Starts on the button and uses no oil or water.I bought it thinking it was going to need a lot of work but as yet it has needed nothing.Seller was a real gent.In between my buying it on ebay and collecting it he noticed one of the coolant flanges was leaking slightly so he bought and fitted a new one.Even put a quarter of a tank in it to get me started.Left me wondering "what's wrong with it"
Next year i'm wrapping the whole car,fk front bumper, aftermarket rear bumper.Smooth hatch, quad lights, retrim headlining in black cloth along with a,b and c panels.Various gauges, top mounts all around, coilovers on rear, full stainless and decat, seat steering wheel, seat leon wheels (16in),braided hoses, new front wings, white dials, lower glovebox (as it has a 6 disc in the standard one),blue led's in all switches, clocks etc etc.Iv'e got all the stuff just need the time and good weather.
In all the cars iv'e had over the years iv'e never had so much interest in a car until i got this one. It's probably because i'm so handsome !!!!!!!.Then again...........maybe not

Don't see the problem with the price, my similar speced white 8v sold for 2 grand last year. If its good enough then its worth it.

car's are worth what someone will pay.... now if someone wants an anniversary, it's yours for a mere £5k

I wouldn't pay £2k for it myself, but it's in fantastic condition, and white GTI's are few and far between. If it's as solid underneath as it looks it's worth £1500 all day long IMO.
