Title: Hycote paint 'Vs' Holts paint.
Post by: MickP mk3 on 18 October 2013, 13:57
while sorting my manky doors i came across these different shades of dragon green. the firts pic is the hycote paint against standard paint and the second pic is holts paint against standard paint. no-brainer really, i now need to repaint the passenger door again

most of these paints are designed to be a fairly close match (not exact), that's so they only need 100 colours rather than 1000's.

e.g tetrosyl VW red10 also matches the code for another 64 red colours (by a variety of car manufacturers)

I know. I once used Ford Rosso red to paint a Nova door, it was brilliant match.
