I managed to pick up some mk3 heated leather seats. The switch looks like this:

Where do you think is best to put it?
Edit- (Link doesn't seem to hyperlink the whole way, it's the first image if googling mk3 heater switch)

Bump, also I have the loom including the seat plugs and heater switch obv. Where do I have to splice the wiring into by the fuse box?

I might have another switch like this laying around

Genuine mk2 dash switch which fits the mk3 loom. You just switch two wires, can't remember which ones of the top of my head.
MY mk3 switch was cut and stuck in here. The ash tray also closed flush

A2 resource says

Power from D/09
Ive taken power off one of the 'Y' terminals and its fused from there. My fuse holder and relay clips ontop of the fuse box

I saw your hidden ash tray switch before but didn't read the name, that was my plan. Need to hope there is a top end mk3 in a scrappy so I can grab the second seat control loom. The fuse box guide was exactly what I was after, extremely helpful as always, ta.

Just to clarify I need to wire one colour (brown?) into the y terminal with a relay (#?) Still got a black traced and and grey traced wire. What do I do with these two. Also is it the same wiring for when I acquire the seat control loom from somewhere?
