When i press my electric windows my dash lights dim???

maybe a dodgy earth somewhere seems like the window switch is draining a lot of power
Battery Good?
Alternator pushing out over 12v on idle?

thats nothing, when i press my windows it doesn't work half the time AND my headlights dim!

Also sometimes when i put my window up i have to hold the button to get it too close properly else it come down on its own accord.im thinking it could be a problem with the window mech or a bad earth somewhere.cheers for ur advise.if it is normal i cnt understand it.im sure my previous golf dint do it.

Are you sure that's not the pinching thingy my window always does it as pinch sensor is faulty or something have to tap my button to get the window up all the way otherwise comes down again.

Ok ive decided to go with the idea .its normal.ive found bout 4 earth points and they seem ok.i should just save for my wheels n stop wining about little problems that dont matter :)
