Title: Nav Pro Questions
Post by: Chief1337 on 15 October 2013, 16:51
Hi All,

I've a few questions on the NAV Pro Unit - Apologies if they have already been asked/answered, can't seem to find details. Feel free to link to other threads.

1) What's the maximum SD Card size that the Nav Pro will support?
2) The SSD that comes with the unit, how do you interface with it? Can you easily 'disconnect' it and plug it in to your PC/Mac via an external caddy?
3) On the SD Card with that comes with the 'navigation software' on it - can you put files/music onto that also? Or does that come on the SSD?

If anyone has the relevant pages of the manual handy or can link the a PDF of the manual I'd greatly appreciated it!

1. Maximum size is allegedly in the Terabytes - certainly don't think it will be an issue (especially as you have two of them).

2. No the SSD is housed completely internally inside the DVD drive in the glovebox - there is no external connection or re-moveability of it.

3. You don't get an SD card with the Nav pro. The software is already loaded onto the HDD. As far as the Nav is concerned, you only use the SD to add updated map software or personal POI's. There is space (I think just over 10gb), is freely available for storage of music.
