My bloody car alarm every now and again decides to go off after locking the car with the central locking remote. All my doors are locked and the central locking seems fine.
What could be causing this? The alarm is the standard fiited one from VW.
Thanks
Luke

Mine does this if I press the lock button a bit to much in my OCD way of making sure its locked. I just make sure I don't press it to much now and it hasn't gone off for ages now.
Doubt that helps

Its more than likely your interior sensors going... To test this on the piler behind your drivers seat right down the bottom there is a button, press that button while the ignition is on and it will deactivate the interior sensors.

mine kept going off everytime a truck or a bus went past, so I ripped it out.. :smug:

mine kept going off cause of a dodgey door module, kept thinking the door had been opened.

Thanks' I'll give this a go. Does it deactivate the sensors permanently or do I have to press the button every time?
Cheers

Not 100% certain but I think it perm disables them until you press the button again.

Nope. Press it disables the sensors inside the car for one time only once the car is inlocked it goes back to normal.
