Title: Unconfirmed BW. When?

Excuse me if this has been covered elsewhere, I couldn't find it in the "search" function. When do someone get the unconfirmed BW from the dealer? I ordered a GTI performance pack on 23/09/2013 and I had no news from the dealer since. I phoned him once or twice but he had no clue(?) :angry:

Hi, I got my unconfirmed BW exactly 3 weeks after the order, in an email from dealer, together with the order number to track progress on the VW site.

I take it that you mean confirmed build week? Anyway you should get a confirmed build week about three months after ordering your car. Have you been given a order number yet?

No, tambourine, I meant unconfirmed. In my place there is no such things as order no. etc. We relay completely in the dealers goodwill (!!!). How frustrating, I must say... Thank you very much, though.

Unconfirmed? I got mine pretty much AS SOON AS I ordered, well within a couple of days anyway. Unconfirmed at BW 37 on the 22 May, got built end of Wk 37 and arriving at the dealers on Monday.

I ordered my GTD last Monday and had my unconfirmed BW and tracker number by Friday.

Estimated build week before placing the official order then a provisional unconfirmed build week given two days after placing an order for me. 

As soon as the car hits the VW ordering system (once the dealer puts it on) you get an order number and at that point they have an unconfirmed build week appearing on their system.
