Post by: t-dub1902 on 13 October 2013, 14:45
Hi
Can anyone help my golfs got a few problems

Main one being when the car gets upto tempreture its makong a strange wineing noise and when i rev the car the noise gets louder as revs increase any ideas??

Also when i turn left it makes a nasty scraping noise it sounds like around the brakes area??

Any info would be great as i cant drive it due to the noise when i turn left and the wining noise doesent sound too heathly

For the whining noise, get the car up to temp and pop the bonnet. Leave it running and put a long screwdriver to your ear and touch it to components. This should help you find out what the source of the whining is if it's not obvious or the sound is traveling.
