Title: Help with Google places

I could do with some help trying to get my Wife's business featured on Google places. She runs a successful dog walking and pet services business in the Altrincham area of South Manchester.

She has a website but I am having trouble getting it to appear on Google places / maps when doing a generic search such as 'Dog walker Altrincham'

I have completed the Google places add with the areas covered etc but it won't appear on the local map with our address. How can I remedy this?

Any help or pointers will be greatly appreciated

How long ago did you do this?

IIRC when I setup mine I was told that a postcard would be sent to my address with an activation code. Once i received that I typed in the code and it would then activate the account and appear  :smiley:

The verification code arrived last week and I submitted it. I have no outstanding actions according to Google and the place page is 100% complete. I have done a bit of editing today on the description to include areas covered etc.

Just cant get it to show on maps.

I think it might take a couple of weeks for it to appear  :undecided:  i know mine wasnt instant  :smiley:
