clear them see if they come back

check battery voltage and alternator output, my 4 Motion had loads of issues, including misfire and lots of fault codes, eventually the alternator gave up.
Charged the battery overnight, fitted a new alternator and cleared the codes, scanned again, no codes and the misfire had gone too.

Hi, yes ive cleared the codes. And came back straight away. Bummer. Hope the alternator isnt on its way out. Someone said take MAF off and if it runs fine without it then its that??? does that sound right??

Not sure about the MAF, ideally you could do with a VCDS scan, I am in St Helens and have VCDS, could do a scan for you.
Tomorrow evening or Sunday at Three Sisters

unplug the MAF and see how it runs

Call VW and see if your car is liable for the coilpack recall, it affected v6 models as well as the 1.8t's.
Could end up getting 6 new ones and a courtesy wash f.o.c

It technically didn't affect the any particular car just specific part no's of coils. Only Coil on plug type engines could be affected so the early single coil 4mo's definitely wouldn't be affected.
Meh i've let the dealer wash my rs4, came out ok.
