Title: factory software updates on plate 09 GTI?

Hi all

i was wondering whether anyone knows if there's been a factory software update to the GTI (2009 plate).  I haven't been contacted by my local dealer but when i called the revo guy to ask for an upgrade he asked me whether there's any chance the dealer would be calling the car in for an update (since that would presumably erase the remap or block the ECU from getting remapped).

As far as I know there aren't any VW ones. There are for things such as RNS, maybe vehicle electrics, but none for engine.

Revo will be fine just make sure if your taking it to a dealer and they mention doing a software update that you tell them not too. Shouldn't ever happen though.
