Title: Just about to buy my first golf MK4
Post by: swgolfchap on 11 October 2013, 11:45
Hi,

Just about to buy a Mk4 2003 plate 1.8t 150. It`s got 103,000 FSH etc and looks to be ok. Anything i should be looking out for, checking and any general faults with them?

Cheers,

ok got the golf.. Really happy with it so far...

Seems a little flat spot in 3rd, only noticed when i really put my foot down but apart from that seems to go well and so far not caused any issue... Got the dealer down to £1800 and px`d my vectra for £1100. Thinking of changing the alloys from the 16`s to either 17`s or 18`s, are their any particular measurements i should think about, models etc?

Cheers,

I got a nice set of 17's for sale that will fit straight on with no issues, good tyres too, see the link in my sig :)
