Title: Lowering kit
Post by: Mcwill on 10 October 2013, 16:02
Hi guys just took delivery of my new pi 60mm lowering kit springs/shocks. The worry I have is that on the side of the box it says golf 1.8 1983/1991 and my car is a 1992 model so will it fit?

Thanks

You should be fine. 1992 is also the cross to the mk3.

Yep it will be fine, I hope the shocks are shortened travel.

Thanks for the replys, fitted the rears today and did one side on the front and have done something wrong  when you turn the wheel the spring is clunking. Got new top mount, not sure I have it rite way round?

Do I need any others bits other then top mount spring and shock?
Advice would be great.

Not sure that they are? Will the cause problems?

Well if they are not shortened travel the issue is that with 60mm drop springs they will have a short life due to having to run at the lower end of the shock.
