Title: cleaning throttle bodie on an AUM
Post by: dazzaGTi on 09 October 2013, 21:34
do you have to have it realigned with diagnostics equipment after cleaning? or can you clean and let it settle itself if you do not disturb or move the arm inside?

You will need to get it re-alligned however I didn not know this at first and cleaned mine, I then drove for 6-7 months before I realised, I then did it and tbh I didn't notice a difference.

if you can clean it without touching the butterfly bit or whatever you call it then no,and i think even if you do it realigns itself after a while of driving, don't quote me on that, read this

mines fly by wire and I've never had to realign it after cleaning, automatically sorted its self.
