Title: Handbrake cable
Post by: bobbarley on 07 October 2013, 20:41
Is it a big job to replace the handbrake cable? They tightened it at the MOT but it's worse than ever how. Practically vertical but it's still barely engaging!

might be the guide tube that needs replaced , they corrode quite badly and the cable gets jammed. pretty easy job. 5 quid for a new guide tube from dealer , and put a new cable in too.
