Title: lighting pack?

Could someone tell me what the lighting pack is, in the optional extras of the exterior of a car ive seen advertised, only thing i can think of is rear leds? cant see a pic of the rear

LED rear became standard in 2010, they were never an option. I'm pretty sure the lighting pack was interior ambeint lighting and puddle lights under the door mirrors.

There was never a lighting pack on the mk6
There was a
. Luxury pack
. Storage pack
. Winter pack

luxury pack was
. electric folding door mirrors
. Door mirror puddle lights
. Reverse activated curb view on passenger mirror.

Unless they meen what was listed as
'gas discharge bi-xenon dipped and main beam headlights'
That was
. Led daytime running lights (later cars)
. Auto range adjustment
. Dynamic curve lighting
. Headlight washers
. Low washer fluid warning light

There was certainly no lighting pack offered as an option when I specced my car last year.  Maybe they mean luxury pack?  Or perhaps what Snoopy said.
 
Is it advertised as having xenons?

I've just checked my brochure, and yes, there was no lighting pack. However, Snoopy missed off the Convenience pack. That included Automatic headlights, coming/leaving home lights, auto wipers and dimming rear view mirror. This was standard on a GTI tho'.

Once again, a dealer with no product knowledge.  :rolleyes:

I missed that one off as it was standard on most models by late 2011 which was the price list I was looking at just before I posted.

It's odd but in my 2010 brochure, the convenience pack is optional on the GT, but every GT I've ever seen has got it.

Nope hasn't got xenons, I searched everywhere and can't find lighting pack but definitely on the list as optional extra, although that said they do say in the ad the 18 monza are standard which they aren't

Is it a GTI and what year/plate?  Might help shed some light on it.  Sounds like it might be the convenience pack?? 

I thought 18" Monza's were standard (on a mk6 gti) or is it 17's that are standard.

Nope, 17's were standard with the 18's being the option.
