Title: mk2 8v- corrosion repair in cylinder head
Post by: 2pac on 04 October 2013, 22:43
hello
corrosion has eaten the cylinder head on the mating surface with the inlet manifold, so there's a recessed spot near the small coolant passage and it's leaking from there. how would you fill it up? a gasket maker? or maybe one of those epoxy sausages that repair iron?
thx

Weld then skim bud. Machine shops can sort this :)
