Title: Intercooler experts required info :)
Post by: Nino on 02 October 2013, 15:33
Hey guys had a look at this kit and it seems to have everything I would need for my AUM, I have read there feedback and im abit concerned it seems this seller sells these kits in auctions as well as buy it now and if they don't go for a price there happy with they refund and say it out of stock, others have said they rang to ask questions about parts fitting only to find they don't. Anyway the item is below, what do you think?

pipework is only 2" which will be restrictive.

best bet is a toyosports core and custom pipework, going down this route in the new year

I did the Toyo cooler and custom pipework route, it can be a pain getting it all lined up but much better in my opinion than the cheaper versions available

Just curious when you can get a full kit inlet/outlet same side for 125 delivered by auction why buy a diy kit? Are the inlet/outlet same side not as good or summit? I thought they be better as slot less issues with leaks as far less joins.

I went for the THS kit. It fits a lot better than the ebay kits and if you want to use your original grilles you just have to trim them a bit. Used ones come up from time to time. I've had mine fitted about a year now and never had any problems with leaks etc. after being stage 2 mapped.
