Using a Racelogic PerformanceBox GPS device, so accurate to within 0.1 sec (on a recent visit to Santa Pod of course) - I got the following results from my Mk6 GTI dsg:
0-30 2.85s
0-60 6.45s
0-100 15.36s
30-70 5.3s
1/4mile 15s at 98mph
You shouldn't dwell on figures, but when I bought the car if felt quicker than I was expecting for a fairly modest power output, to the point that I wondered if it was mapped. Shouldn't be because it was an approved used car, surely they would have checked for this.
I'm tempted to get it on a dyno, but not sure I could trust their figures.

Evo magazine timed a standard GTI at around 6.5 seconds.
Apparently, VW are quite conservative with the actual power outputs..........230 bhp as standard is not uncommon.

Looking at your 0-100 and quarter mile time I would say your car is standard and healthy
-
That looks healthy. Wish mine felt that quick.

Interestingly I've never seen anyone on this forum who has posted BHP figures other than around the VW claimed 210, I had mine on the dyno and got 209 BHP, IMO these stories of 230+ as standard are either by tuning companies using them to exaggerate their success or general guesses.
Happy for anyone to prove me wrong though.

That's good to hear. Not saying I won't map in he future though. Just the usual warranty concerns.

You'll know if the car is mapped because the standard tune is flat as a fart on part throttle in the higher gears but a mapped car has a huge swell of torque. Completely different power delivery and thankfully VW have seen fit to give the GTI a bit of much needed torque in mk7 guise.

That sounds like mine. All the power is above 4000 revs in the first 3 gears. I do miss the torque, my previous car was a mapped BMW 335D.
