my middle box has started to blow so when i had the car on the ramps to check i noticed that the middle section and backbox is all one peace so how will i get it off the car as it goes over the axle , my car is a remapped 1.8t with a decat and org exhaust im thinking if i cut the middle box out and put a pipe in its place will it be ok with the standed backbox

You either have to cut the exhaust or drop the rear beam to remove it.
It'll be fine if you remove the middle box and keep standard back box :afro:

cheers i think i will just cut the box out

original exhaust is 2 piece , joined by a sleeve

Just as dom says both easy enough jobs to do but cutting the exhaust would be quicker :afro:

Not the section of the exhaust that the OP is referring to. The standard exhaust is 1 piece from the cat to the back box.
