Title: Phonebook not downloading to RNS510

I have a problem with my RNS510 - after about a minute of the car coming on and connection to my phone a message pops up on the screen displaying the following "phonebook download not complete".

I have a sony xperia S (if that matters) and i have tried backing up the contacts to my phone memory and sim card but still get  the message!!

Any help really appreciated.

When you pair the phone to the car, you should get a message on your phone asking if you want to share the contacts. You need to press YES on the phone.

Has your phone been paired to the car and working properly before? Perhaps you could delete the pairing and start all over again.

Thanks Dubber, Yeah the phone has been working fine and still does, I haven't found a contact missing yet in the stereo phone book. Maybe the title of my post was a bit incorrect!  :rolleyes:

I will try re-pairing the phone to see if that works.
